Roy is a custom builder who has been busy doing a lot of models for Norm Buckhart. One of his more recent models was a Southern Pacific SE-4 0-8-0 switcher done to Proto48 standards. The model was built out of a Sunset A-3 Atlantic boiler and a C-9 2-8-0 mechanism. The class 90-R-7 tender was modified from an old Max Gray import. The model was done in a pre-WWII style with a big Pyle headlight and Southern Pacific Lines lettering.
