Mike has been the driving force behind Chooch Enterprises for over forty years.  He has developed many product lines over the years that have helped modelers create more realism.

The Layout!

Mike if the process of fulfilling his life-long dream of building a railway depicting scenes from the Pacific Northwest.   He is a major fan of the NP and GN so equipment and scenes are prominent throughout the layout.   The layout is massive with an overall size of 40' by 60'.  There are multiple levels that require the viewer to climb stairs to see other parts of the line.   All of this is Proto48.

One of the most finished areas on the layout is the loft that contains the Spokane depot done to scale with no compression and Palouse in Eastern Washington.  The backdrops were professionally painted by a local artist.  Mike has background with Disney and learned the art of lighting and diorama creation.

The layout was open to visitors during the Narrow Gauge Convention in Bellevue, Washington.
