Bill scratchbuilt this logging tank car using a Tom Yorke article that appeared in the Railroad Model Craftsman several years back. The basic material was wood with detail parts added. The tanks was taken from a Grandt Line HO kit and weathered with a base coat of Krylon red primer washed with Floquil rail brown washed with Apple Barrel gray. The trucks are from MacLeod Western and were intended for narrow gauge. The wheels are NWSL. The link and pin couplers are from Alexander Scale Models (now defunct).
