Jack is one of the most well known modelers of this era.
His name is synonymous with the Yosemite Valley Railroad.
He has authored a well researched and beautifully illustrated
book on the road. Jack builds models in HO but recently tried
his hand at a Proto48 piece of rolling stock. His model was
built using styrene to simulate steel, actual wood and lots
of Tichy rivets for detail. The car is a model of a log car
once used by the YV in conjunction with an incline. The model
captured a first place in the NMRA National Convention in
Seattle last year.
